Many listeners in Ireland, The British Isles and Europe are familiar with the greeting "Hello again this is Miles McKee with The Gospel Truth radio broadcast." But who is he?

Miles was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and raised in the small village of Maghera, 40 miles away. He grew up surrounded by the gospel. The McKee home was a stopping off point for evangelists and missionaries such as the great W.P. Nicholson , Johnny Cochrane, Arthur Rainer, Matt Boland and Noel Grant . At the McKee Home, the Bible was an open book.

At the age of 21, the Lord graciously intervened in Miles’ life and called him to Himself. For two years he worked with a traveling evangelistic music ministry--Liberation Suite--ministering to the young people on the streets of Europe. After graduating from Bible College he pastored Hill Country Church in San Marcos, Texas for five years. Yearning for his native Ireland, he returned to preach in the largely un-evangelized regions of Southern Ireland. There he established the Wexford Bible Church.  This church has continued in the Gospel and has planted two other Churches since its founding.

Some years ago, Miles and his wife Gillian saw an opportunity to spread the Gospel in Dublin. They leased an FM station and started broadcasting the Gospel to Ireland’s capitol city. The programming for this new venture was down-linked from UCB (United Christian Broadcasters) on the Astra1B satellite. At the same time he began broadcasting his own program, “The Gospel Truth,” throughout Europe via satellite and on the UCB station which covered all of the United Kingdom and beyond. There are now over 20 non-commercial stations in Ireland broadcasting The Gospel Truth and the spiritual results are thrilling to see.

The Gospel Truth is being recognized as an effective soul winning tool and has been added to the program schedule of Rhema Radio Network of New Zealand, Christian Vision of Zambia, hundreds of radio stations in the United States (growing every day), Heaven 97.7 Caymen Islands, and many, many more.

Miles McKee is the consummate gospel preacher. He and his wife Gillian spend all their time ministering. They are also very involved in mission work and have a strong commitment to an Orphanage and Bible Training School in India.

Miles has two wonderful grown children Halli and Conal. Conal survived a murder attempt in ‘04 which took his lower left leg, half his right foot and his spleen. Since then Conal has had 17 operations. As parents, Miles and Gillian, as you can imagine, have found this enormously stressful but they firmly believe that Romans 8:28 is true! However, they have had to learn to allow God to define the meaning of “GOOD.”

Halli’s goal is to teach Irish studies and literature at university level and is pursuing her studies in that field.

Miles is currently writing a series of Christ centered books entitled, The Gospel Truth Trilogy.

They have also produced “Safe at Last” an 11 track CD which features amazingly haunting Celtic music from Ireland providing a beautiful background for the reading of the scriptures.
