Not for the Faint Hearted!

Yes I know, and fully understand, that some who read the following will be highly upset at me. They will consider this piece coarse and offensive. Nevertheless, we must raise issues which logically flow from certain Roman Doctrines.

The Pope, and his priests, for example, claim that, in the Mass, the elements of bread and wine are transubstantiated into the actual flesh, blood soul and divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ. They also claim that salvation comes through partaking of this so called sacrament and that the faithful must eat the actual and literal body of Jesus. As you well know, however, the dictionary tells us that a cannibal is one who eats human flesh and drinks human blood so we must conclude that the Pope has, by his own admission, led millions of his unwitting followers into acts of cannibalism. “Oh no”, you protest, “This is insulting.” I’m sure it is, but the insult does not come from me, it comes from Roman dogma. The truth is, we can’t have it both ways, either the wafer is the actual body of Jesus or it is not. If it is the actual body, to eat it makes the eater into a cannibal.

But the logic of Roman Dogma gets even worse for, it is taken for granted that Mary the mother of Jesus attended mass and both ate and drank the transubstantiated wafer and wine. Thus Mary was a cannibal and what is worse she cannibalised her own son!

By the way, I believe no such thing. I am not saying Mary cannibalised her own son. I have too much respect for Mary to say such a thing. It is, indeed, the Church of Rome which, when we follow the logic of her position, is saying this very thing.

But it gets even worse!

During the Mass, the priest and the faithful proceed to gobble up their “Wine and Wafer God.” This leads us to conclude that eventually, God is eliminated by natural bodily functions, flushed down the toilet and into the sewer. So we are now confronted with the spectacle of Almighty God in the septic tank! But don’t get mad at me; get mad at the people who teach the bunkum of the ‘Wafer God.’ who must be eaten for salvation! I didn’t make this stuff up! Get mad at the priests and popes who teach this wretched nonsense!

The amazing thing is that millions believe in this mysterious albeit ultimately messy nonsense of transubstantiation. Indeed, successive Popes have travelled the world performing this astonishing feat of conjuring God off His heavenly throne and making Him reappear, before the eyes of the multiplied thousands, as a lowly wafer.

The spiritual repercussion of this ritual magic is far reaching indeed. According to Rome, it can effect a great deal of benefit for both the living and the dead. It is strange, however, that God must go to the septic tank in order to forgive sin and rescue the souls of the dead from purgatory or wherever.

All of this delirious religious nonsense is solemnly adorned by the largest so called Church in Christendom. Someone says, but you don’t understand, we know our Church needs change and we are changing it from the inside. Well on that matter I side with the old Irish preacher who said, “You can’t teach an old dogma new tricks!” Such a Church as Rome needs not a reformation as much as it needs a demolition. A wise person will reject the superstitious and outlandish notions and pretensions that emanate from Rome and turn to the Bible and the Bible only for revelation on Divine truth.
